Hello,

did you prefer noise-shader or highres textures to generate nice little structures on surfaces in animated secene?
I`ve create a powder-coated metal with noise-shader. As a still it looks fine but in the animation it`s very noice and
it does not matter if I adapt the samples of the lights or not. Sometimes it looks like the noiseshade is not moving with the object.

Hi Lubo,

maybe your GI Clamp of 0.02 makes it noisy. Try a GI Clamp of 1 and adjust the lights to get the same brightness/contrast.

No, it`s not better. But can I say that there is no difference in the quality between using octaen noise-shader and highres textures?
