please

Currently the maximum number of greyscale attributes is 4, and the maximum number of color attributes is 2. We limit this so that it doesn't affect performance too much

Understandable, I tried a workaround and combined 3 single float values in one vector and with osl and getattribute to get a single float value again, but I did not succeed in that. Do you know if this is possible?
Or could we have the option to use one of the 3 values of a vector in a greyscale attribute?

Universal material with medium is producing more fireflies than the same settings done with a specular material.

This doesnt seem to happen in octane 4.

For a bunch of CG artists, one has to take a moment and appreciate the mouse-drawn X and check mark on the screenshot.

Hi. Are there any plans to create a similar feature in octane? (volume displacement)

Was wondering the same..
Or any current strategies known to generate a similar effect?
