I could reproduce the bug. It's a very interesting situation but I don't have yet a conclusion about that. Just seeing it's happening if you don't have one more object in the scene.

I have a problem on this version
when I open the octane node window it freezes cinema 4d, and it is then impossible to do any action anymore in any window of c4d
wherever i would clic would result into nothing happening at all and c4D window would stay top of any other program.


It is also very slow on many simple actions. (loading hdris in environment, loading a texture in a channel, attributing a channel in an object, changing a parameter in a channel etc..)

Working with c4D r19 on macbook pro 2011 with 16go ram, i7 quadricore, and egpu 1080ti in an Akitio node connected trough thunderbolt.

Returning to V4 got everything back to normal...

I can render in livedb as well as in the picture viewer as long as I don't open octane node window. even if there is nothing in the node window... juts the fact to open it or try to add an image texture for instance would freeze all cinema 4d window. i could still move the windows but j-have no access to anything in them anymore, forever. even quiting the pap becomes impossible without force quit it in os x.
