HI,
trying to save and restore blend material to and from the local DB seem to be broken.
textures are missing when loading saved blend materials and Universal sub materials are reverting to diffuse when loaded. can this be fixed?

Blend material isnt saving correctly to the Local DB

Saving is correct. But problem is in converting operation. There's only a missing part for diffuse slot on creation the nodes. And also convert operation is missing for a few texture types. Note that blend material's saving/loading operation to livedb is a hacked way. Because blend material is not a native type of Octane. Also you can easily store your blend materials in content browser. It was not possible with mix materials.

there is still a problem though...there is an error loading the textures themselves after restoring a blend from the local DB

Are you using it in a saved scene or untitled one?
