Hi!

I usually sculpt dioramas and figures in zbrush and do my renders on C4D with Octane, obviously, but I tend to do just clay renders as I can't seem to get zbrush's polypaint to work with vertex color inside of C4D.
That would be extremely useful for users like me who don't want to do complex retopologies and UVs.

So, is it there any way to get the polypaint? Could it be a future feature if not?

Thanks!

Hi,

you can bring vertex colors from Zbrush to C4D by using the FBX Export/Import plugin in Zbrush. Check vertex color checkbox on fbx import to c4d.

Edit: I see Octane can read/bake the vertex color shader from c4d...so no problem to render it with Octane
