In the meantime, I exported the animation to standalone (Standalone 4.01.1) and had no problem rendering.
Thanks

Hi DinoMrFurious wrote:Hi Paul, I'm in a spot of trouble with the modo plugin. It's not allowing me to activate and asking for me to install a newer version. worked fine roughly a month ago.
Standalone version: OctaneRender_4_00_RC2_win
Plugin version: OctaneRender_for_Modo_4_00_0_134_64bit
I'm still using Modo 902 and I realize at some point plugin support for 902 was dropped. Thing is this was working perfectly before xmas.
Kindof a desperate situation as I needed to render out a job tonight.
Thanks,
Dino.
Sorry Dino, you really need to be on the latest 3 versions of Modo in order to use the Octane plugin.MrFurious wrote:I was afraid you'd say that.
No so easy though. I'm in the middle of 2 scenes which will most likely break when moving from 902 to 12.2. Is there a way to have any version of the plugin on or after 4_00_0_134 which can work with a non expired version 4 standalone in 902? It would save me a couple days work maybe more. I know it's time for me to upgrade to modo 12 but I'd rather upgrade after finished these projects. Standalone v4 rc2 expiring really left me in the lurch
Thanks,
Dino.
