Getting a crash-out with this one...
even with a continual test model.
(proven fine with other Octane Versions)

Update: Instead of opening the already worked on .ocs (either of the 2 I had - at various stages), I started from scratch with the exported .obj and, this time, did not crash out. Down side: I'll have to reassign everything.

Update 2: Hmmm... After Redoing the model everything seems o.k. - maybe some obsolete tech that's no longer used w/in the older version?
Anyway I am going to get the latest Cuda Drivers and see if things smooth out.

Definitely Better Response, though :)

Update 3: Bad News. After this new work is saved, it can no longer be opened without crashing out.

Always hate being a dummy,
but do I need the 'Toolkit' as well (center)

or just the 'Developer Drivers'?

I've completely forgot. :?

And it's also giving me a message that it may not fly so well with a gtx 260 when I attempt to install the 'Developer Drivers'

I noticed that the bug with vertical lines in the image is still there.
Is this something that can only be fixed for GTX 460 with CUDA 3.2?

Thanks, it looks really promising but I'm observing 'some' issues with previous projects, kind of 'lagging' in moving through the scene and picking up mesh materials
can't really say much, it just happened on 2 out of 3 project I have done just recently.

and most important, I'm on 258.96 with Cuda 3.01, should I move to different ones? what do you suggest?

I have a problem.
All intermediate release of Octane (23.3,23.4,23.5) always crash when i try to connect a material node to mesh node.
Octane v1b22 is the only release without any crash.

What's wrong ?

Ok I think i've found a bug.I can use JPGS & TIFF maps in the scene ok.However I have just tried a test with a Gif file and it displays it in black and white as you can see from the uploaded images.Replacing the GIF with a JPG and your back to colour again.I think this must constitue a bug.
