I am having the same error happen to me. I have been looking around but it has been more of a rabbit hole the a solution! Hopefully everything can get polished out sooner than later! I feel like the older V4 iterations were a tad more stable for casual use but I really wouldn't trade all the advances so it's really a double edge sword I suppose.

Lowkey glad this isn't only happening to me though ;)

When you close C4D and try it again do you still see that behaviour? I have noticed similar things before but wasn't able to put my finger on it yet what exactly the problem is. Sometime it goes away after restarting Octane, sometimes I have to reboot. If the problem goes away after restarting Octane or C4D, then the problem is most likely a device memory leak in Octane. If you have to restart your system then the issue is most likely an issue with the CUDA driver.

We fixed a big memory leak in RC6 but there might be more lurking somewhere and any info that helps getting rid of them is appreciated.

Does Orbx anim pack export "normal" work with XP4 particle export?

tried several times to export cashed particles (small amount for test)
each time the export freeze on different frames

Does ORBX export work with XP4 particles?

I tried several restarts along with new CUDA and Nvidia drivers and couldn't figure out a solution. I ended up replacing my 980ti with a 1080ti from another computer and that seemed to solve it for now. One thing I am not sure of however, is the large amount of VRAM being used for a new scene in C4D with a simple cube. Is 600mb typical for that?

When I export a denoised beauty pass and open it in Photoshop it seems to have a slight transparency that isn't present in the original beauty pass. Format is PNG, no alpha and the background is an octane environment with power set to 0.

Is this the expected result?
