I am an architect and works with Revit (Autodesk)
for the rendering, I export to FBX model in 3dmax
all my materials are created with Revit and are mentalray (no choice)
I export from 3dmax octane with the plugin, but unfortunately all my mental ray materials does not follow!
Do you have a solution?

well, the internal max exporter (the one it's used by octane script) is limited to standard materials only, so prior to using the script or doing a manual export, use any of the free material converters for max out there, there is several and they work almost great, as an example this is the one I use http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scrip ... yconvertor.

But I'm probably dummy.
I run the script multiconvert,
I set "from mentalray" to "to standardmaterial"
I clik on "save link"
2 files are created "MatLink" and "prolink" :shock:
and here I do not know who to do.

I looked for a reply on the forum scriptspot and on yourtube without succes...
