Hello Aoktar. Did you get to see the file I have attached? I work with the R18 version of C4D and in W10.

Greetings.

Hello,
I don't get cuda errors. I'm with stable drivers for me on Win7 always. Btw you should not use octane textures on background objects. Because background is rendered in cpu and apply in cpu level. It cannot samples the gpu shaders in cpu.

Hi,

I noticed that in this version, sss roughness acts differently to version 3.08.3. Project settings untouched, just rendered. Basically, roughness on sss material float value 0.1 in version 3 has to be set to circa 0.3 in version 4 to look the same.
May I ask why is this happening? Do I miss something or simply version 4 mess up the settings from version 3 by default? I was not aware of this.

Thank you

hi,

i seem to have problems with opacity.

here's a scene (r20 with the latest v4 plugversion for it, not tested it in other versions).

result in live viewer looks like attachement (the same when rendered to pv).
notice a) the squares within the shadows and b) no shadowing underneath the landscape object
