Hello,
We're having this issue of C4D R19 crashing when opening files from R18,
Bug report is attached. In the scene we are using Forester with Octane Scatter. Will scattering with unconnected vertices cause this issue?
Octane 3.08 on Win 10 Pro 64bit
2 x GTX 1080 TI driver version 24.21.13.9907

Seems to involve Forester Objects using Octane Scatter and a reference mesh of unconnected vertices.

It's crashing on scatter object's codes. There's a distribution object without any polygons and crashes. I'm fixing this problem.
Run C4D without Octane and delete this object and save your scene. Later it will not crash.

Thank You for the confirmation aoktar! Unfortunately most of our distribution meshes for this project are made by cloning stray vertices. and there are multiple distribution meshes in several scenes.aoktar wrote:It's crashing on scatter object's codes.
