trouble with version octane for poser 3.08.0.87

hey there

I downloaded the latest version of the octane poser 3.08.0.87 and when I apply sss skin shader for g2 I got this

Yeah, I see what the problem is.
Obviously, the normal map node channel behavior was changed with the most recent update, and now Octane shows this weird surface, when there is s Normal node with a value of "0".

A quick fix for now would be to set every single Normal channel node to "1" instead of "0", that fixes the problem.

We'll release an update to fix this issue in the near future.

There is an Otoy-sided fix incoming for this - please refer to our journal entry here:

EDIT: The fix is now available with version 3.08.2.88 of the OctaneRender for Poser plug-in.

have downloaded and tried the latest versions but same hit again :o version 3.08.2.88 is same as the previous

We've tested the most recent version of the OctaneRender for Poser plug-in against the Normal-mapping issue and found it was fixed, so it is probably something on your end.
Could you please let me know via PM which version of the plug-in you are using and attach a screenshot of the unfold material tree?
