Hi,
i have loaded a single .jpg file in octane.
When i click the edit setting button, octane list this:
Source file format: 24 bit RGB
Loaded as: 32 bit RGB

Why?
I don't need alpha channel, i loose 25% of graphic memory!

That's how Octane works. The source file format doesn't matter since all textures are converted and stored uncompressed in VRAM.
So if you want to use less Vram you need to resize textures or change RGB images to Grey scale images where you can.
