Do you know if the Octane 4.00 XB3 works on your system? Nothing has changed in the compiler from the Octane 3.08 plugin builds ...

Also, remember that if you had a previous version installed, you must remove the Octane master plugin from the master plugins options panel, before adding the new plugin build.

Fixed it I think Juanjgon, I uninstalled XB3 standalone and reinstalled, now the plugin has been installed fine, if I get any strange errors i will let you know.

Cheers

i had to also re-install XB3, and add / remove the plug in in lightwave a few times to get it to load.... also..... IPR seems to work ok.... but F9 render stalls at the start, and will not begin rendering.. even on blank scene.

If i disable use all GPU's setting in GPU options tab, it works.

Yes, sorry, this is known issue already fixed for the next build. You can enable all the GPUs for rendering in the GPUs names without problems, but this option must be always disabled. In fact, I think that the same bug in the GPUs management code is enabling all the GPUs for F9/F10 rendering even if some of them are disabled.

Can you please take a look at this post? The problem can be related to this issue.

The hype for 4.0 is great, and I want to use the denoiser feature greatly.
Is this version safe to use right now? What I mean is, is it just like the latest 3.x build (just as stable) but with other features?

Or if I am in production mode should I stick with the 3.x I have installed already?
