Hello,
Is there a way to Render Layer Masks for Transparent Objects, without the transparency showing up in the mask?
I'm on C4D R19 and using Octane 3.08.
I was referencing this tutorial by inthelifethrill : https://vimeo.com/119850717
In it he manages to render an opaque layer mask for the glass sphere under the foot of the lion sculpture.
Best Regards

Hi,
add an Octane Object tag, change the Object color from black to white in the Object Layer tab, and enable the Object layer Color pass in the Render Settings/Render Passes tab: in this way you can have a solid mask of any kind of object, with the desired color: ciao Beppe
