Hey,
so I'm trying to render a simple camer rotation animation.
The thing is - when I just hit "Open Octanerender viewport" all looks fine. When I scrub through timeline in modo - everything is also fine.
But the moment I hit "Render the current animation timeline" the viewport window opens up and my model is missing a texture (in this case a dislpacement texture). I've tried rendering this in Standalone and it's the same problem.
I've tried this multiple times and every couple of times I do get my displacement texture but my HDR texture is missing for lighting! Very strange stuff.
I'm on Octane for Modo 3.08.0.131 and Octane 3.8 of course.

Can you send me the scene pls, and I will take a look. At a guess, I wonder if you have assigned an Image Sequence rather than an Image.

all right. I think I figured it out.
So, I've done the scene in an earlier version of Octane (and plugin that goes with it).
Turns out, that when starting the animation the displacement texture is there, but it's barely visible (it's set to 0.08). But, it was enough in the previous version of the plugin, but not in the latest one. When I turn up displacement from 0.08 to 0.5 I get a similar result. So the displacement node has changed a bit (I see 3 different options for it to work on a mesh). But the question remains - why does it work all right as a still render and total different when animating?

I loaded your scene, and it renders the same in an animation as a single frame in the Viewport (but there are a few missing files). Can you post images of the problem you are having pls?
Thanks

Sure thing Paul.
So here it is:
The one on the left is just rendering a still. The one on the right is after I clicked "render animation".
The difference is in the very, very low displacement value on the right. For some reason Octane changes it when rendering an animation. When I pause the animation, go into material settings and set the displacement much higher (like 0.5) I get a similar result as the image on the left.
I'm assuming the reason for this is that Octane has changed the displacement node somehow?

I am missing too many textures to be able to test the scene you sent me. If you can provide all the textures, I can take a closer look.So here it is:
