I am curious if anyone has come across this issue. I am adding a 1080Ti to my TitanX maxwell setup. I was under the impression that it would not be a problem to run both cards. Octane standalone uses both cards and they perform great. However C4D, Houdini, Adobe they all crash on load. I can disable either one of the display adapters from the device manager and everything works fine on either card. But if they are both on everything crashes. Has anyone run into anything like this? Any work arounds to get both cards rendering?
Thanks,
Josh

I have TitanX (Maxwell), 1080Ti and 1080 in same machine and no problems, I use octane standalone, Adobe CC package and LightWave+Octane so no problems with mixed GPUs.
Have you tired changing nvidia driver revisions ?

Hi lilsmokie,
I think your issue depends on Nvidia drivers you installed.
Good stable one Nvidia 388.13
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe ... px/126255/
Performed clean installation procedure using Download Display Driver Uninstaller DDU

So I have been picking at this for awhile and I think I came across something fairly obvious. I had a program called Mac drive and Duet display installed on my system. I uninstalled them both. I am hoping the problem is not Mac Drive, I think it might have been Duet Display.
It is a bummer to uninstall it and not be able to use it. I dig drawing on my pc with it. But it has its own weird display trickery it uses to get the iPad to read as a display. Haven’t used it in awhile tho, totally forgot it was there.
Thanks everyone for your help.
Hopefully this was it!
