Hey Paul - do you have an ETA on your radar or are we way to early for this?

Quite early - yes :-)

I will do a build once I get the API from OTOY.

I hope it will not be to far away :)
But I imagine the new Octane 4 API will require major changes to the plugin!?

Thanks for answering so quickly! Your quick response helps me to think I should pay closer attention to the Modo plugin.

Thanks Paul - I'm sure you will be on it once they get the SDK out...looking forward to speed improvements.

Hopefully not - we tried to keep the API as close to 3.08 as we could to help make the plugin update process go faster.

Thanks Paul, I'll look forward to it..
Don't what others are thinking, but for me and the scenes I do with Modo, the AI denoiser has been a MASSIVE improvement in getting a cleaner scene faster.
There's been a few scenes that I have 6 or so lights (Modo) IES, point and area lights. 3.0.8 has not been able to resolve the scene even at 8K samples and maybe 20 minutes.
The denoised scene is reasonably clear in 6 minutes. There is still a bit of what I call "Light aberration", a bit like what you get with Modo and Irradiance caching, but certainly way better than without the denoise.
Cheers!

Can't wait to see Octane 4 for Modo!!

Now that a new API is mentioned... Can we expect more integration with Modo's native textures anytime soon? Has The Foundry gave more access to these procedural noises?
