aqui dejo un par de imagenes para sus comentarios, tiempo de render 1 hora 5 minutos, la verdad no aun soy nuevo en esto del uso del octane, las imagene se ven muy fugadas, no se como darle el tamaño correcto ya que los valores que trae por default me arrojan asi las vistas, tambien se supone que en la primera imgen hay un recuadro negro que deberia de ser cristal que cubre el oleo de la pintura pero se ve negro, he notado que en elementos horizontales se ve como cristal real y en elementos verticales a menos que haya una transparencia se aprecia de lo contrario se ve negro el cristal, algun tip para hacer que se vea transparente tambien el fondo del cuadro que es un mapa de color ?

hello sam75, isn't, i can't make a imagen with pathtracing, when i do click in path just close the program, and i need reopen again the octane but is the same thing, close again the program when i do click in path, that is the reason why i use only directlight
any solution to can use the path ?

You can render out an AO pass with a huge radius for the ceeling and use a mask pass so that only ceeling is affected.
This would yeild a less clinic and more profound gi-fake look.

It will work, its beeing done constantly.

The problem with the glass is the ao distance, since is directlight, play with it to get a better result, there should be such problem with pathtracing.

roco -> definately try pathtracing, just let it run a bit longer, and post the results here,
with your help we can optimize octanerender faster.

hello radiance, when i try to use path and i do click in maxsamples to put 8000 close the program and i need restar again the octane and is the same thing, with directlight don't happen this

Very cute renders!

The only problem I see is that everything is too smooth, without bumps. I think that atleast the reflections on the tiles will benefit form subtle bumpmapping.

hello matej, well i don't know use the graphic node, i think so is the way to make more realistic the images, do you know short way to understand the graphic node ?
i'm trying to make one by pathtracing, i will upload soon the image
