No that's not supported yet.funk wrote:I'm just testing out toon lights. The power pin doesnt seem to be doing anything, even though the tooltip states its a multiplier.
EDIT: Actually it seems to work but you cant use the slider. You have to type in very small values like 0.001. Is this intentional behavior?
EDIT 2: Sorry, it looks like you need a toon ramp plugged in to see the affect toon light power on diffuse
Also, is there any way to disable shadows from being cast, like we can with emission?

My previous reply was incorrect. The problem is not OpenEXR, something else and it will be fixed in the next version. Thanks for the report.andw wrote:There is still some weird issue (values clipping / saturation ?) with environment HDRI with high dynamic range
( https://hdrihaven.com/hdri/?h=flower_road ) Moreover, the result differs in 3.08 RC1 version

Hush this Nonsense!...
Plugin developers, across the world, indeed DO wake up to find that their plugins have been wonderously updated to the latest standalone build by the Render Fairy.
And, it is a wondrous moment for them, as they dance with festive glee and sing:
"Oh yee, oh yee, come see, come see!
The wondrous magic of the Render Fairy!
Our Plugins updated, to the latest specificity...
Oh yee, oh yee! Yon render, come see!"

Hello everyone. I do not agree with the choice to have released a buid only for Windows. Personally I would have waited another week to make win, mac and linux users happy.

The windows build being out a week already helped catch some bugs which will go in RC2 which will be released on win/Linux/Mac.mac3d wrote:Hello everyone. Not sure if this is 3.08 RC 1 specific but reporting on it anyways;
Apparently it's possible for a render slave to crash, it apparently gets a new IP from the network (maybe this causes the crash in the first place), then when killing off the daemon and re-launching the slave, the master PC recognises it as a totally new machine (please see attachment)
