Hi, i have a problem with houdini and c4d regarding vdbs. As i import the VDB in c4d, i m missing all the grids from houdini. This cloud is consisted of 5 grids and while in vdb loader says they are there, i see only one of em. See images below.
What is the solution for this?
Houdini VDB to octane doesnt load all grids

Try to export each grid as different vdb. You can't have multi grids in volume object.
Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw
Thanks, good to know. We merged all vdbs in one grid from houdini eventually.
I got another question though.
The houdini guy that works with us, told me as we were trying to match the shape of the clouds (cause it looked different) that he had some density variation in there. Octane was not able to read this information or i dont know how to do it. U have any clues about this? thanks
