HOT4D plugin not working for me in R18

Hi guys,

HOT4D plugin works on R17 for an ocean animation but not in R18. Have you experienced this problem too ?

ok, good news. it doesn't appear in the plugin menu and when I open a project using HOT4D, it says plugin is missing.

I put HOT4D with others plugin in the same location so I don't understand.

Hi bertritude,
Hot4d needs to installed in the plugin folder inside the preferences folder, not in the classic plugin folder, where you place c4doctane folder.

About the scene, thanks, I have to firstly find the time to finish it, one of this days...

Hi, there's 3.dll files to put in the C4D folder too and that's why it didn't work.

I know this topic is quite old already, but I seem to get the same problem wit R20. Does anyone have the same problem and knows how to make hot4d work in R20?
