-This is also postet in sidefx Houdini forum-

I am testing Houdini 16 apprentice.
I have created a box and then carved a hole with a tube using boolean.

Then i save/render it to disk, using file node, render to other - geometry.

When i import the .obj into Octane Render, there is no hole.

I have found out that the problem is in Octane Render standalone .(maybe I am missing a setting in OR)
The geometry is not showing correct when I add the mesh(.obj)

If I import it into Blender the mesh is correct, is it a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Thx

Your OBJ is made of Ngons and that is the problem. Convert it to quads or tris.
