Test Version 3.07-Test3a
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Ye sorry i figured it out after i posted here.
I'm getting some weird render results with this version while using network rendering.
I just read about the fog medium issue with OctaneSky objects, and I was using a medium, could this result be due to that?
I just ran a test render without the sky medium and the checkering effect disappeared.
I've attached an image of the weird result I got while the sky medium was active:

Hello! I'm a new user, I currently have Cinema 4D R19.008 installed and when I install the new 3.07-Test3a plugin it's menus do not show up in Cinema.
I've made sure to delete all .cdl64 files except "c4dOctane-r19.cdl64" and have also installed the same build of the Octane standalone renderer.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi globodigital,
you need to update your c4d to R19.024, and install the new stable 3.07-R1, instead of the test version:

Happy GPU Rendering,

I've tried the test builds and the stable releases but still can't get 3.07 to work in R19.
If I leave the R18 file in the plugin folder I can see the Octane menu item but none of the submenu options.
I've also tried placing the plugin in the Users>AppData Path for C4D Preferences and the Regular Program Files path but still no avail...
Any help?

Hi ramiz,
instead of moving the c4doctane folder in the wrong place, you only need to update your Maxon c4d to R19.024, as written everywhere, even in the previous post.
And please, install the latest version v3.07-R2:
