I have the latest versions of both plugins, but since the release of R17, I cannot do or see anything with Xparticles in Octane. Any piece of advice here? Even scenes that work just fine in R16 do not show anything in R17. Thanks, your help is appreciated!

Thanks, but I already did that. Nobody seems to have posted this problem. There are people who didn't have object tags and things like that. I do notice that I'm running version 2.32.2 in R16 and then in the latest version in R17 there is no place to check "enable particle engine" in the options in live viewer. Any other thoughts?

Give up 2.23, please go with latest 2.25-R3. It's under Cinema4d->Releases

I removed this option and the usage replaced by object tag->particles. Please locate sample scene in next links..

Thanks, got it working a second ago. I didn't realize I needed to check the appropriate boxes within the object tags. Hope this works as well as before. Thanks for the help!

I'm using R17 and have the trial version of x-partles 3.5 and was also testing this out I updated to octane 2.25 R3 but I can't get my particles to display either.
Funny thing is when I use the regular emitter that comes with cinema I can get the particles to display with the object tag but not with x-particles.
Is this because I have the trial version?

You need to add the Octane Object tag to the emitter object itself - not the entire system. When it's on the emitter, you will see an extra particle particle tab.

XP api is not available on demo versions. So direct access is not possible for particle data.
