Hi,

I am trying to use a gradient to distribute my objects on a plane. By default it dosent seem to work (http://i.imgur.com/ka0gCnB.png) but as soon as I enable the scale "link to distribution" it became visible (http://i.imgur.com/pMHLaz7.png) but I dont want my scatter object to scale, just being distributed using that gradient.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I'm intrigued.
Does anyone with "highest knowledge" ;) have a solution?

Well after some tests, distribution is actually unrelated to density but to how and which objects in the scatter objects are distributed. AFAIK there is no way to have a density based distribution.

set your "min value" to something other than "0". for example 0.001.

It's not supported but possible to add new option for adding that as density multiplier.

Hi jmd,

How about vertex maps?

Best regards,

@aoktar would be awesome to have an option to do that.
