Hi Paul,

When I save out a octane material using the command "octane.exportmaterial," I can successfully save out as both formats. However, when I try to import the files into a different scene, I'm getting the message "error loading octane/modo material."

Do you by any chance know the problem?

Thanks!

I am just typing in the command octane.importlivedb. The error shows up with both files type.

Thanks. I can replicate this problem, and it will be fixed in the next release.

Greatly appreciated! That button would also be nice :) I'll be happy to provide any "art" you may need for that.

If you post the graphic here, I will add it.

Hi Paul,

What types of file is the best for these icons? PNG or JPEG?

Also, thank you for fixing the bug with import. I just tried it, and there seems to be another problem. It only imported the "base" material, no texturemap or node settings. For example, a material using the liveDB Aluminum as a base would simply import in as the base Aluminum.

I think I have resolved this in the next release, which I will post a pre-release of in the next few days.
