Hi

Anyone know where the tutorial video is for the baking functionality of the max plugin of Octane?

I've looked but can't find anything...

Trying to improve the quality of my models when I export them to sketchfab and it looks like I'll need to master baking first.

Hi Rik,
You can find information you need in Octane 3dsMax Manual here:

Thanks Paride but that wasn't an overly clear or helpful bit of the manual.

Middle image is the model in max, on the right is the map I got from the bake camera and on the left is what happens when I apply the texture to the material to the model.

If it's a simple procedure could Otoy please do a vid showing what to do.

I havent done much baking.
But it looks like the objects are overlapping in uv space?

Have you unwrapped all the models/objects and made sure they dont overlapp?

Hi Rik,
The baking process needs some steps.
Elvissuperstar007's video can be of help.
When you bake your scene or objects, you have to consider the unwrup process too.
