Hi all!
Two questions:
1. Is a local material database supported within the Blender plugin?
2. When exporting to orbx all my nodes get charming sounding names like "0000000011334EA8", any way of making them retain their original tag?
Cheers /Erik
Local material database and node names on export
Hi Wakyak, I created a customized localDB, it's just a classic folder (or directory) for my octane materials which were created in BlenderOctane. Provided that the materials are applied to a mesh or something, I find that I can save my octane materials to a .blend file and place that file into the folder, and then if I want to load the same material, I just do a File>append and navigate to the folder where I stored the materials and select the .blend file. The .blend file lets you access the elements in it, and there is one folder within the .blend file that is reserved for the materials. You can then select the material from there.
