i think phoenix 3 has two separate sims one for liquids and one for fire and smoke. I guess you wont even need octane modifier for liquids since octane cannot support foam, mist, wetmaps. Hopefully when octane can support all these water will also render properly

oh i did not even know that. I hope soon we will see foam, splashes, mist and especially phoenix wetmaps working since Phoenix 3 does not have mesh sticking to walls as wet effect and uses particles that later used by wetmap texture.
