I think this question should be written in the https://www.allegorithmic.com - what would they have received the detailed process of conversion to octane render and I think the team here should immediately and quickly address the proposal in https://www.allegorithmic.com

it would be good to write a script which would have translated materials in 3Dmax without settings of each material ... for example in VRAY it is implemented

We are expecting the release version of 3.06 in the next couple of weeks. The SDK is in test stage right now and is still getting some significant changes. We are trying to hit a balance between putting out releases earlier versus spending that effort on fixing issues instead. In this instance we decided to focus energy on fixing more issues on our Max list so that when 3.06 is released, then we will have a much more stable and well tested plugin.

But, maybe there is any chance to speed things up? Even releasing not super-stable version?
I've got renderings just waiting for AS option, which dramatically shortens my render times...
Rendering form Standalone is almost impossible for some reasons for me.

Yes, but my reason is that exported scene doesn't support Octane Camera Correction. Camera is on its place but is not recognized in Standalone as OCTANE Camera and I can't enable Correction.
