Hey guys,

I'm trying to set up a scene with a planet and it's rings. I have a super rough ring texture applied to my ring object (a plane using the bend deformer).

So far so good, but I have an issue where the diffuse material shows it's normal colors on one of the ring, but is inverted on the opposite side. See photos below.

It's probably a simple fix, but how can I get the material to be the same color on both sides?

Thanks!

Hi dh921911,

You may use a MixMaterial with the same material applied to both entries and a Face node (not sure for the exact name, i'm not at the front of my computer) applied to the Amount of the MixMaterial. Or you may use a ClothNurbs with a small thickness.
