Hey guys,

I am working on a scene where I would like some trees to be in the background, but be low poly and fast to render.

So I discovered that Cinema 4D has a library of 3D objects, and in this case, some flat tree textures. So these would work great for my situation.

One question:

Is there a way to get the shadows to be rendered correctly? Currently, it looks like Octane is seeing the plane object as a solid object and rendering the shadows as such, but I would like the shadows to be accurate.

Cheers

Tick alpha shadows ON. It`s at the Kernel settings. :)
And check if the Rayepsilon is correct, this might affect a bit the shadows. Usually when dealing with relative small scenes, setting it to 0.000001 (lowest value) deos the trick for me.
