Hi,
I have a question. I have actually detected 9 slaves under the network render settings. However, rendering through picture viewer, I noticed that the GPU usage is only "Net Render GPU: 3/12 Slaves: 8"
/
Does that mean only 3 GPUs out of 12 GPUs is used in rendering? if so, how do I get all GPU to work?
I'm using Octane version 3.03.2 for all slaves, Cinema 4D R17.048
Cheers,
CQ

Hi,
please update all your slaves and Master at the latest v3.05.3 version, a lot of fixing has been done from v3.03.2 version.

viewtopic.php?f=85&t=58047
you need to update also c4d R17
Another thing that you can do to better monitoring your slaves is to enable the logging:
viewtopic.php?f=86&t=54503#p285541
In this way the terminal will be more verbose giving you more info on what is going on.
ciao beppe

Hi,
I updated my C4D to R17.55
Update C4D octane plugin to Octane 3.05.3 as well as installed the same version for Standalone.
However, after starting up C4D, I went to the Render Setting to Octane and checked Enabled Network Rendering Box and select Network Preference, Octane crashes with this image.
How do I go about fixing this?

Hi,
Thanks for assisting. I got it working now.
What I did after crash was I start up C4D again,
Created a sphere and open the live viewer and it prompt me to sign in. Apparently my license was full so I had to unlock one of my PC license and sign in again and it didn't crash at all when I open network preference in render settings.
Thanks for the help guys!

Nice! Be sure that activation/deactivation is working correct on start/exit of C4D. You can check from licenses page.
