import lua scripts in octane4rhino?

You cannot use LUA scripts that Octane Standalone runs from the Octane Standalone Script menu, but you can use the Scripted Graph node which allows the running on LUA code. To do this, change the material node type to NodeGraph, then click Edit, rightclick the nodegraph and add an Other->Scripted Graph.

If you can provide the script and the Rhino file that you tried, I can take a look. And also let me know which version of the OctaneRender for Rhino plugin you are using.

Hi Fabrizio

My understanding is that the LUA script that you are using is intended to run via the Octane Standalone Script system - rather than the Octane Scripted Graph node. For the Scripted Graph instructions, pls see viewtopic.php?f=73&t=42588.
