I just got octane for Modo 10, and I cant seem to get it to run smoothly. I get crashes every few minutes (Modo error screen and error report, then exit)
I am running Nvidia GTX 1070, I have tried many different drivers, Different versions of modo and octane. (Modo 701 and Modo 10). The crash usually happens when moving something around the scene or changing some parameters.
I read about changing the timeout values for the graphics card, but have not figured out how to do it, maybe this will solve the issue. - I am running Windows 10.

I also tried running octanebench, but get the error no compatible GPU - which is wierd.

Which version of the plugin are you running? Which Nvidia drivers do you have installed? Which version of Modo 10 are you running? Have you tried deleting the modo .cfg file as per https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... eshooting/?

I am running Modo 10.2v1, Octane 3.03.3
Currently running Nvidia .375.95 But I have tried several different ones, including the latest one.
I have deleted the Modo.cfg file.

I am not sure if the documentation is old, or something wierd is going on with my software, but under the octane Kernel Settings Animation, I dont have the Load All Frames Into Octane button.
Another possible cause is that I have previously installed a subscription version of the software on the same computer.

Which release of the plugin are you running pls? If not the latest version - can you pls install it.

Regarding Load All Frames Into Octane - yes, the documentation reflects the old system - pls see the release notes at viewtopic.php?f=34&t=55078 for details.

3.04.04 seems to be working well. was using 3.03.03 because it was the latest under "Licenses - Downloads".

The plugin version is in the format X.X.X.X - you have provided the Octane release number, not the plugin release number.

If you stop the render, the version number is displayed in the viewport render statistics. It's also displayed in System->Kit Toggle Enable, and it's also on the filename of the plugin installer. Regardless, you should have the latest TEST or STABLE version installed - detailed at the top of viewtopic.php?f=34&t=55078.
