Hi guys!

We're trying to do a cosmic scene here (a rocket launch) and we'd love to have a huge earth (the closer to the real size - the better). Unfortunatelly every sphere and other primitive I try breaks in renderer when it's big. Attaching the example of a sphere of a 60.000 cm radius and friends.

Is there any workaround? Or should I just scale everything down couple hundred times? It's gonna be hard, because we're rendering in stereoscopic 360 and it will be a pain in the a** if we won't use the proper scale.

Any advice appreciated :*

Read Kernels->ray_epsilon from manual. Take a look to manual/video tutorials and play all parameters. That's my advice to all new users.

I always fake stuff that would otherwise tax my 8 year old machine. Some of what you want may need compositing.

Thanks @aoktar! It worked like a charm :)

Hi @TonyBoy! Faking stuff it's what our job is about :D Such compositing in stereoscopic 360 would be a crazy process though and we have a philosophy of getting the most out of C4D + Octane if possible :)
