Hi again;
Another odd problem I'm running into in Octane for Houdini. I have a bolt head I've modeled in Houdini using the Cookie sop to subtract a hexagonal shape from a cylinder:
It renders as expect in Mantra, but Octane oddly seems to not want to render the hexagonal cutout:
Any idea what might be up with this?
Boolean operations not working

Can you attach this scene here? I'm not sure, the problem can be that this operation is building a polygon soup, or another kind of object not supported by the plugin. Usually, this problem can be fixed adding a convert to polymesh sop.

The problem is that this polygon with a hole is not directly compatible with Octane, that only can work with simple convex polygons. You need to add to the object the Octane OBJ spare parameters and enable the "Tessellate NGons" option in the "Tessellation" tab to render this kind of objects.
