Hi,

no it happened in all scenes. It also seemed, that there is a performance problem as well.

Anyway, I fixed it (for the moment?).

I changed some settings in the nvidia control panel and found a website that recomended to download some cuda samples and the cuda toolkit to check if the graphic card is working the right way. I installed this kit and it works.

Somehow the fixing process actually felt like this

...but it worked.

Hey!

I have a same problem.

So, what's happened:

In different scenes ( with many polygons or not, it doesn't matter) - render is stops. Usually it happen on the second frame.

After reading forum and topics with same story - I decided to re install windows. It's doesn't help. I re install different versions of NVIDIA drivers - it doesn't help.

So:

1) Windows 10 pro (trying to reinstall OS and run octane on clear system - it doesn't help)
2) 780ti 3Gb + 780ti 3 Gb + 1070 6Gb ( I was trying to render problem scenes with one of them - 1070 or 780ti - it doesn't help)
3) RAM - 32 gb
4) NVIDIA drivers - 372.90 ( I was try to install diferent versions - 368.69 , 372.90, 375.70, 376.33 - it doesn't help)
5) Octane Standalone - 3.03.3 ( I was try to install diferent versions - 3.03.3, 3.04.3, 3.04.5 - guess what? It doesn't help)
6) Cinema4d Plugin 3.03.3 R1 (same story about different versions ....)
7) Cinema 4d - 18.011 (same story with different versions 17.055 - it doesn't help)

File project (cinema 4d - octane plugin version 3.03.3 R1): https://www.dropbox.com/s/8uhik1qdpt2en ... T.zip?dl=0

At the moment, I can't stable work. What's going on guys? There are a few topics on the forum with same problem - and still no solution!

Also no problems rendering your scene. Tried 2 frames (42 - 43).
I'm Using Octane 3.05.1, C4D R18.028, 32 GB Mmemory, 3-TitanX (Maxwell), Nvidia Driver 376.33
The scene initially took a few seconds to load.
I also tried reducing your HDR file by 50% and that did load much faster and the render still looked OK to me.

Hi anatolikbelikov,
as other users, I was able to render your entire sequence on both Win 7 with 1070 and Mac with 970 without issues:

Are you sure that your motherboard and CPU are correct for multi GPU?
Maybe it is a specific overheating issue.. have you tried to check with GPU-Z your cards while rendering?

What else I can post here, maybe other logs or whatever else, which can help?

P.s. temperature is fine (1070 - cold, 780ti - 55-65C)

Hi anatolikbelikov,
are you using other software that works with CUDA?
Have you try to close every other application and useless service while rendering?

Work with 3.05.1 and keep open your Octane log window while rendering and see for any errors. Most likely it's a problem on your setup.
