Hi guys,
I have posted this issue a couple of hours ago, but without any replies. I guess thats the better forum for the issue:
I am getting a "CUDA error 719" after updating the nvidia driver to version - 347.52. The CUDA 719 error is an known issue and I have red a couple of times in the forum about it - unfortunalely nearly every forum topic about the "CUDA error 719" is not solved >>
_My C4D setup (and the C4D octane plugin) worked before updating the nvidia driver
_I have tried to go back with the drivers (to version 347.25 and 347.09), but it still doesn´t work
_yes, I am using big textures in that C4d setup - but, before updating it was working and it shouldnt be a problem with two gtx980 cards, though (4GB ram, each)
_live viewer shows a black image, the renderer creates a black image.
_I have rebooted and reinstalled the C4D octane plug in
_if I check the textures in the material editor (doesn´t matter how big they are) the material preview within the material editor turns black (the material in the preview window turns also black)
_besides, maybe its good to know that the nvivida openGl driver died a couple of times with an "error code 3" message, before and after updating

24GB DDR5
i7-5960x

what happens with simples scenes? Can you render somethings? Also pls post screen shot of live viewer with onscreen infos.

I was working on this and similar setups for about one week without any major problems (just some openGl crashes).
After updatin my nvidia driver the issue began. Even if I delete the big texture file (22k) the live viewer ist still very slow.

Oh, I guess I forgot to describe the images:
1. The image with the black "Live viewer" is the first one. It shows that the CUDA error appears.
2. This image shows the live viewer with performance issues though the 22k texture is deleted. There are no ohter big textures in that scene. Btw. what does it mean, when red text appears within the top of the live viewer while its calculating the image...I guess it communicates that it has performance problems?!
3. This image shows the scene with the 22k texture that appears even in the preveiw boxses black. The live viewer is not updating.

Hard to know the problem. But my first idea is a driver issue. Why zoom in viewport and LV is different in first image? Additionally, red text is not problem. It show's check/update times for geometries and some additional info.

Hey, thanks. Do you have any clue about the issue?
as i said, first idea is driver problem. Can't say more without checking. But try to downgrade to previous driver
