Hi guys,

i'm on Octane Render 3.03.2-R5 and having some issues, i dont know if its me not catching a new settings, or the software itself.
So i'm triying to light objects (a scene) with an HDRI then hide the HDRI and show another image/color on background (but not only background, on all around , its for VR content).
In the previous version of Octane Render i had 3 options on the Environment Tag it was more versatile for me cause i could chose betwen two OctaneSky wich one will affect reflection, background...
But now, if i put two OctaneSky, one with an HDRI Imp. Samp. Enabled Visible Environment Disabled and the second OctaneSky with an RgbSpectrum Imp. Samp. Enabled Visible Environment Enabled, the RgbSpectrum will affect the scene... And i woold just show the RgbSpectrum on background.

Any idea?

Thanks! :)

I think that's expected result. Did you checked scene in standalone for any differences? You should not expect another result what standalone produces.

Guys, by the way, what about the InitGLImage message en on bottom left of the screen, it shows this message when i try to send a scene (not always but quit often) and it seams Octane stop working. After that, i cant send a scene, even if i close the project and reopen it. I have to close C4D. And when i close C4D i have a message Wait until Export! (assuming its Octane message) so i have to end C4D process from Windows task manager...
I did a screen capture of the bottom message and a part of Octane Log shoing a lot of ID erros. Im i doing something wrong?
Thanks

Hi Diode,
please, could you share with us an example scene that shows the issue, in this way it's more easy to investigate, thanks.

This message show a texture rendering process in materials for opengl. Other messages will not cause any problem.
