I'm using the scatter object as I want to use the random colour node to have varying different colours sampled from a gradient.
I have applied a rigid body dynamics tag to this scatter object so the spheres fall to the floor, I assumed it would work just like the cloner where if you pause it stops and freezes the frame...However with the scatter object if I press pause it snaps back to frame 0's position.
Any way of fixing this or a way of getting the random colour shader to work with a standard cloner?
Also would be really nice if you could do random colour on a per object basis without using the scatter object, when you manually copy object it is always the same colour

It's not implemented for that. You would be lucky if that would work.
