I have no problems resizing the image (tried 5-6 times during rendering)
I also have no problems saving the render (tried several times too)
Maybe video driver issues? Last night I updated mine with the latest version. Or something else.
As to light emitters- the first time I applied it to an object nothing happened even though I played around with the values. I restarted Octane and now I have no problems.
I REALLY wonder how GTX 460 owners feel the new 2.3 in terms of speed. Can somebody please (with sugar on top) test and see if and how the new version reacts with the overall score (before and now comparison).
Thanks a lot and good luck guys.

I think it depends on the type of material used. On diffuse material there is emission and on glossy/ specular- no.

Although I use linux, a version is not available yet. I've done some tests on windows and this is what I found for now.
I must say that I have tested with the 258.96 drivers I had in windows 7.
-As julianb and zay have said, I have noticed a loss of approximately 9.5% speed with this version.
-When I use multi-GPU (GTX260 + gtx470), a strip looks good (less than 1 / 3) and the rest as shown by SamPage. If only use one card works perfectly.
-If I try to save the image using multi-GPU the program closes. With a single gpu works fine.
-I noticed a strange effect when using mesh emitters. From an interior scene without using mesh emitters at 2.8Ms/s, by adding an emitting object, the speed drops to 1Ms/s, then returned the material emmiter to null and the rate remains at 1Ms/s.
Here is a test render. Cheers

I can confirm this. It happens to my scenes too if I do that.livuxman wrote:I noticed a strange effect when using mesh emitters. Same here. Speed drops down and don't go back up when change the material to diffuse or pause/start the render.livuxman wrote: -I noticed a strange effect when using mesh emitters. As to the left panel- you can reduce its size by dragging the vertical line to the left. Tedious but for now it works.
