I'm trying to figure out a pretty urgent problem. I have one computer I've been using to setup a render which has an nvidia k6000 GPU, but the project is huge and requires my other computer which has 4 Titan z' inside. The issue I'm running into is that when I open the exact same file on both machines the output looks totally different from one to the other. I've attached a snippet from the two images so you can see what I mean. The top is from the Titan Z and the both from the k6000...supposed to look like the bottom one.

Anyone ever run into this?! Help!

I've got the same problem, and in addition I've noticed that to achive the same quality output in terms of grain...with my "slower" machine, I've to increase the samples in the render parameters; this is unreasonable to me, it should just take a longer time, but the result should be identically!?!?

I'm waiting for help too...

Yes! me too!

On the K6000 I have to render at 500 samples, but on the Titan Z machine have to render at 1500 samples to get a similar grain. Its kind of ridiculous.

Would love some insight into why this might be happening if anyone has any thoughts. Could it be the color profiles from computer to computer? Would the computers color profile determine how octane is rendering out of C4D? I did another render from a 980ti machine and got a slightly different variation again. The images below go from left to right as, Titan Z machine, 980 ti, and then the original k6000 machine.

Put a sample scene+render output and let's check. Are you sure all plugins are same version?
Also check for cohorent ratio. It causes color changes until some samples.

ARGH! Hahaa

Yes, it was the version number! The k6000 was running version 3.03.03R1 and the Titan Z machine was running 3.03.01R5. Amazing how big of a color difference there is between those two versions.

It should no be so. It would be great if you post a sample scene for us. So we can check why this happened.

Sure, this is the scene I was just playing with here that exhibited the same issue with the C4d plugin versions mentioned above. When I updated the Titan Z machine to 3.03.03 R1 the octane image then matched the K6000 machine with the same version.
