Hi,

I'm attaching few examples of bokeh from the real world, which can't be done in Octane for now but can be done in modo renderer by playing with the parametrers "iris blades", "iris rotation" and "edge weighting". But well I bought Octane to have realism and speed so I will not go back to modo's rederer just for the bokeh ;)

Looking forward to see those features availables in Octane very soon :)

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a tutorial in which a modeled aperture is build within c4d and placed in front of the octane camera. As a result you can define aperture rings and see them within the bokeh. I found it quite interesting and a nice technique. The only disadvantage seems to be a slight vignetting that cannot be controlled.
