hi,

here is one of my older projects

scene is 1.4 milion poly (original model was done with hypernurbs in cinema 4d , lowpoly cage was 10k poly)

settings:
-hdri 8000x4000pix
-mindepth 8
-maxdepth 64
-samples 4096 (far to much but just wanted to see difference

-rendered everything to 2048x1024 after 5min quality was good but 40min to finish
-Hotpixels to get rid off white pixels
-downscaled to 1200x600
- color correction in psd

GTX 285 1GB

One word: awesome.

Looks like some motorcycle sculpt with a twist. There seems to be lacking a bit of smoothing in some hard angles.

The metal work reminds me a bit of this classic:

I switch off smoothing because there was some issue with shading
renderer was showing some dark lines instead of smooth shape
