Kinda strange feelings,
on one hand nice to hear for Octane and Refractiv on the otherhand a bit sad for Blender. I know Campbell will do a great job, but Blender without Brecht?

Anyway big welcome to Brecht

Would be nice to see some Blender to Octane hair and particle renderings :P
My 3D-projects have been on hold, as I have been waiting for three major things:

1) Octane MLT rendering - without it, rendering some scenes takes forever...
2) Light sources. The first 3D software I used was Lightwave 3D around year 1995, so I learned to do many things with light and shadows, not polygons.
3) Blender 2.5 exporter. The new Blender is vastly better than the old versions.

Yeah, I hope Brecht can really bring life to 3D workflow with Blender 2.5 and Octane 1.0! :D
