Hi,

maybe someone got an idear whats going on?

I have a hugh scene with many objects (about 6 Mio polys and 3 Gig Ram which should usually no problem.)
and from time to time in LV objects get rendered where there are no objects placed.

F.e. I have 2 chairs on the floor and LV renders a chair hanging in the wall.
But there is for sure no chair placed in the wall in the scene.

Anyone also got this behavior in 3.03.4 R1?
Anyone got an idear what maybe could cause this?

thanks
Mike

Hi Ahmet,

after clicking on some objects and moving around the camera it works again.
But few minutes later other objects appearing randomly scattered somewhere in the scene.

Working since longer time with that version and with previous scenes/projects this never happened before.
Should I try your latest ....4 R2?

yes 17.053.

I also encountered, that the rendering of octane materials with c4d standard renderer (for fast previews)
which would be very helpfull only works sometimes. Most of the textures/materials are not rendered correctly

Can you give me two sample scenes? For wrong location problem and octane materials in standard! Rendering in standard only supports images/mix/multiply/rgb/etc... at the moment. Procedurals are not possible yet and don't know how i can write these without codes. But i'll try to improve more.

Hi Ahmet,

sorry scene is too large and because it appears only from time to time and
very randomly I think it don't make much sences.

Because that never happened before it maybe has to do with that special
scene I'm working atm or maybe with 17.053 as you mentioned?

Has no one reported such a behavior before?

regards
Mike

Ok. I saw this behaviour a few times in past days. But i can't reproduce with latest version. I'll keep eyes open. Let me know if you have simple scene to reproduce.

one more question please Ahmet,

rendering with c4d standard renderer does not work here.
I have only bitmap-materials no procedural materials, but when rendering
to PV it comes out with white, pink and yellow colors.

What should I put attention on beside deactivating octane ogl preview?

thanks
Mike
