i am having a strange issue since day one with octane:
all of the object in the viewport are pitch black. if i add a light i have to crank the value to 10000 to have it light the scene.
working i a completely black scene is really a no go and the one of the reasons i stopped using octane.
this cant be, right can it?

had the same problem.. was the scene scale in my case.. switched to generic units. now its bright with a setting of 2 or 3.. also i changed the environment collor to grey or something to see objects without lights..

also there is a bug atm when using a free Cam.. Renders ok in Octane Viewport but Black/White at Render times.
I also noticed that when changeing lights from Temperature to Color they become much brighter.. Hope it helps
