When you create a camera from Perspective view and render it works fine. When you change camera type from target to free it renders black screen. And by rendering i mean real rendering saving PNG as sequence for example. OCtane viewport preview works fine.
Hi,
Just to clarify - when you assign a target camera, or assign a free camera (rather than switching the type of an existing camera in the scene) does the issue still occur? Any issues with the Octane Camera by any chance?
If it is just being caused by switching camera types, thank you for picking out this bug. I will see what can be done about addressing this for the next release if possible.

I will try with octane camera. We never use it because it does not have a sync button where it will sync all settings from Render Setup OCtane Renderer camera settings (Would be nice to ahve it because every time we create Octane camera we have to redo all settings. Oh have Aperture and focus animatable in OCtane render setup camera settings)
Looks like if you create a free camera or create camera from view and then change from target to free does not work.
same here black renders at render time.azen wrote:Hi,
I see, thanks for reporting this issue. I will see if it is possible to get a fix for the free camera in time for the next release.
